Andy Sussman
With Boston Wedding DJ Andy Sussman, you'll work with a fun, outgoing professional
who will help you to focus on the big picture, while keeping track
of all the small details. A professional entertainer since 1995, he
performs at over 100 events per year and all of that experience will
make sure that your special day is special in every way possible.
Using top-of-the-line professional sound equipment and a music
library with instant access to over 50,000 of the most popular
tunes, Andrew will spin the songs and energize the crowds to make
your event fun for everyone. Big or small, he will make sure that
your wedding is a memorable one for you, your family and friends.
While in college Andrew worked as production assistant at one of
Clear Channel's most listened to radio stations - JAM'N 94.5,
producing and voicing radio commercials for local and national
clients. Andrew's music mixing abilities also allowed him to become
one of the youngest contributing on-air mix show DJ's in Boston. He
also had the pleasure of hosting and DJing in countless night club
venues in the Greater Boston Area in the early 2000’s.
Outside of music, Andrew is a graduate of Brandeis University where
he received a degree in Sociology and minored in Law, Medicine &
Health Policy. His hobbies include anything to do with music,
photography, computers, and eating out in as many restaurants as he
can visit. Andrew currently resides in Peabody with his wife
Stephanie.
Sam Lurie
Samuel Lurie began his DJ career at age 15. Then throughout his
high school years, Samuel helped make parties exciting while working
as an assistant for other older, more experienced DJ’s. All the
while, carefully studying different events, practicing the art of
beat-mixing, and learning the MC’s tricks of the trade. Slowly but
surely he began to break free from working for others, and soon had
the foundations of well-respected entertainer.
While attending college and earning a degree in Computer Information
Systems, Samuel finely crafted the art of being a DJ and transformed
it into being an MC. Samuel now entertains over 150 events
yearly. His services have been requested for events over 2 years in
advance. He’s performed throughout all 6 New England states, New
York, New Jersey, Florida, Israel, and even China. He has been seen
headlining nightclubs and events in and around Boston with crowds of
3000 plus, for the last decade.
Samuel’s skills lay only partially in his MC’ing and music mixing
abilities. He’s always working towards bettering his shows by
attending DJ conferences like the International DJ Expo, and other
DJ idea sharing seminars, workshops and showcases across the United
States yearly. Samuel is also a proud member of the American Disc
Jockey Association, and the National Association of Mobile
Entertainers.
With almost 15 year’s experience now under his belt, Samuel’s
professional, but high-energy approach, make him the ideal
entertainer for any classy TSG wedding. His dynamic personality,
quick wit sense of humor, and vast music knowledge put him in a
class above other mobile entertainers.
William "Beejay" Kendall
Joining us in 2010, Beejay is the newest addition to our team.
Beejay is a well-rounded entertainer who is detail-oriented and
comes to us with years of prior experience. His entertainment career
began in high school at the age of 15 and has developed rapidly ever
since.
Beejay instills a special trust with each and every family he works
with, that the great memories created at events, last a lifetime.
Born and raised in Gloucester, Massachusetts, a close nit community
North of Boston, Beejay treats your guests like family. He engages
your guests and entertains them with unparalleled charisma. With his
natural ability to adapt to any crowd and vast music knowledge,
Beejay will have your dance floor exploding with energy.
Beejay’s approach to private event planning is personal,
professional and fun-loving. When planning your wedding, Beejay
pay’s very close attention to detail. Not only will he make note of
your special requests, he will consider you his first priority right
through your event. Beejay truly adds a dynamic dimension to the
mobile entertainment industry that is matched by very few,

Karl Murwin
Karl Murwin has had a passion for audio all his life. Before he started to DJ’ing, he was the sound engineer for Salem Convent Church and sound engineer for his high school drama department. This also proved to be Karl’s introduction to Lighting, eventually winning the Massachusetts Drama Guild State Championship an award in Lighting Design.
Karl always loved technology, and he saw DJ’ing as a way to combine both his love for audio and music, with all things “cutting edge”. Having been influenced heavily by other DJ’s he’d seen and met, Karl decided it was time to buy some equipment of his own, and become a DJ!
For the past 7 years Karl has been seen DJ’ing the biggest private New Year’s Party in Boston, and believes a party is not just about the music, but production value too. Karl annually attends The International DJ Expo. This yearly 5 day summit helps to keep Karl current with the newest technology, music, and techniques so he can bring the very best to each and every event.
Karl resides in central Massachusetts. In his limited free time, he likes watching a good movie, going swimming, and all things outdoors. He’s passionate about his career as a DJ, and prides himself on being able to understand each and every bride and groom, interpreting their wants, needs, and visions, and then delivering it to them as a service as their DJ and MC.
Noah Rodman
Working with Noah, you’ll get a seasoned veteran of the entertainment industry. Noah is known for his relaxed, but detail oriented approach. His very easygoing attitude seems to rub off on the brides and grooms he works with, instantly melting away any feelings of anxiety or nervousness.
Noah began his DJ career at the age of 14 working for other professional DJ’s while learning as much as he could to become an MC himself. At the age of 16, he began his MC career, while still working with all the mentors that he had learned from.
With an incredible knowledge of music and a great personality, Noah combines his skills and experience with top-of-the-line sound equipment to bring you an amazing wedding experience.
Outside of being a DJ, Noah is a Health and Fitness teacher who loves working with kids. Noah is also an outdoorsmen that enjoys climbing, biking, snowboarding, and outdoor photography. He and his wife Alice, live with their two dogs in Stoneham, MA.
Matt Sussman
Matt Sussman has always had a passion for music dating back to his days in high school chorus. He transformed his love of music and singing into working as a disc jockey, and has been working as a Master of Ceremonies for the past decade. His amazing ability to "Read a crowd" and always pick the perfect arrangement of music is one of the reasons he has become one of the most requested entertainers in the Boston area. His appreciation for the uniqueness of every event, and dedication to delivering a customized wedding for each and every client, make him an extremely valuable member of the TSG family.
When he’s not behind the DJ booth you can find Matt in the library studying to obtain his law degree at the Massachusetts School of Law. When he's not studying he enjoys spending time doing all sorts of fun things with his Fiance Wendy - Everything from attending acappella shows and theater, to eating out and going to movies.
Phil Cohen
Phil Cohen is a mobile entertainment industry
veteran in the Boston market - with over two decades and thousands
of events behind him. His knowledge of music both past and present
reflects his years of experience in private events as well as his
beginning days as a disc jockey in nightclubs all over the Boston
area.
His passion for delivering amazing results makes wedding couple rave
about their experiences and the opportunity to work with someone
with the level of experience and knowledge as he has. Detailed and
organized in all aspects of the relationship, Phil is able to help
ease the pressure that most couples feel as they begin to plan their
special day. Phil’s incredible knowledge of the Jewish religion also
makes him a perfect fit for Jewish and interfaith weddings in
Boston.
